Hospice care, centered on you
Our hospice care focuses on comfort and support for patients with a terminal illness and their families. When a physician certifies a life expectancy of six months or less if the illness runs its normal course, hospice may be an appropriate option.
Your care team brings together physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains, and trained volunteers. Together, they support physical comfort, emotional well-being, spiritual needs, and caregiver concerns.
The four levels of hospice care

Routine Home Care
Regular visits and comfort-focused support wherever you call home.

Continuous Home Care
Intensive nursing support at home during a brief period of crisis, when medically necessary.

General Inpatient Care
Short-term inpatient care for pain and symptoms that cannot be managed in another setting.

Inpatient Respite Care
Short-term inpatient support so family caregivers can rest and recharge.
Hospice & palliative care
Palliative care is specialized care for the symptoms, pain, and stress of serious illness. It can be appropriate at any stage of illness, even while receiving treatment aimed at cure. Call our team to discuss palliative care resources and availability.
| Care focus | Hospice | Palliative |
|---|---|---|
| When | Terminal prognosis, generally six months or less | Any stage of serious illness |
| Goal | Comfort and quality of life | Symptom relief and quality of life |
| Treatment | Comfort care for the terminal illness | May accompany curative treatment |
| Family support | Included in the care plan | Varies by care provider |
Inpatient care & caregiver respite
When complex symptoms require more support, general inpatient care provides short-term care in an appropriate setting. Inpatient respite care gives family caregivers a needed break. Our team can explain how these options are arranged for your situation.
Care that respects your whole story
Veterans & spiritual support
We respect each patient’s background, experiences, faith, and spiritual wishes. Talk with our team about veteran-specific needs and how your beliefs can be honored in your care plan.
